Hi i have two greenstar 30cdi boilers running a low loss header , once the boilers get up to say 60 degrees and higher they seem to be ok, but from cold i have to constantly reset them i'm talking like 60 times and its driving me mad , they are about 5 months old quite often the flame led drps off and it shows -I I- symbol but then ignights again then usualy back to (ER) and needs resetting.

any idea's ????

Do you mean EA?

This fault code suggests a combustion fault and if it affects both boilers on startup this is likely to be a problem with the gas supply. (If it affects them when running it could be a flue or condense, which sounds unlikely).

Suggest you try running one boiler only for a short while, if it works OK then you almost certainly have poor gas delivery eg: low pressure/inadequate gas rate.

Regulator could have failed on meter or ECV (isolation valve) could be partially shut.

Either way you will need an RGI.

Are you pressing the chimney-sweep button?

Sounds as though the boilers are in FGA mode?
