Two or more lights from existing switch

Hi

I want to add a couple of extra light battens in my loft. There is a pull switch with one light already there but I need to know how to wire up the additional battens.

For anyone interested here is the answer I found to my own question.

To wire in extra lights you loop from the switch and neutral terminals at the ceiling rose to the same terminals on each new light fitting.

Count up how many lights are already operating on the circuit as you should not exceed eight 100w lights per circuit.
