Hi, dont know if this has been covered anywhere but im having a little problem. I'm trying to get my head around the best possible way to have 2 pir sensors (one at the back of the house and the other on the side) to switch on 2/3 lights around the back and side of the house. So if you walk out the back door all the lights come one and if you walk up the side of the house all the lights come on. Hope that makes sense, its giving my brain a right going over!!!
Thanks in advance,

Jim

do you happen to have a garage attatched to your property? or an easily accessible loft?

the best solution would be to fit a contactor to switch the lights on, with the PIR's controling it.. (contactor i ngarage or loft, hence why I asked... )
you could also then have an overide switch to turn the lights on for those late summer barbeques..

ColJack, thanks for the reply. Yes the loft isnt to bad for access to a contactor could go in there and it would also be great to have the overide facility (something i hadnt thought about!) What would be the best way for the power, tap into the light ring or even just run it of a fused spur from the on of the ring mains?
