A couple of years ago, my boiler (grant vortex eco) was serviced, while i was at work, and my wife said the engineer told her that the boiler need not be as hot as that and proceeded to turn something down, he also said if you find it does not get hot enough, call us back and we will alter it, (£90 call out to turn a knob).
I have since changed service engineers and the service is due in January, but i was wondering does this thermostat alter the temperature or is it already at the top mark, or does it not even affect the uhf temp?

Seems to be on max setting, can you post a photo of the UFH manifpold(s) and around the manifold pump area, if it has one, and temperature gauges on the manifold?

Does the boiler HW flow pipe seem very hot?
