Hi,
Have just put new mdf white skirting(from wickes) in my bedroom.
I have bought the new Dulux ultra tough satinwood paint. It says on the tin no need to undercoat. BUT, as it is primed MDF would it be best to give a coat of undercoat following with 1 coat of Satinwood. OR, no undercoat and maybe 2 coats of Satinwood. Decisions...decisions...only i like to do things properly..

Your expert advice greatly appreciated..
Thanks
Lorraine

Satinwood is a coat on coat paint, Like eggshell. If surface is sound you should give it two coats of satinwood (no undercoat required). If you have alot of bare mdf/ wood then touch up first with acrylic primer undercoat.
Good luck.
