Hi,

i am having underfloor heating laid (the trace heating type) not water.
am i right in thinking that proper slate will not conduct the heat aswell as a ceramic floor tile?

cheers :)

The thermal conductivity of natural slate is greater than that of ceramic tiles, so I would say that the answer to your question is "no".
