Watched the Worcester cd that came with gas mag, what a long winded expensive waste of time, could have fitted a full central system for the time and money that must have cost, not impressed at all.

He didn't really show how he laid the pipes either.

Plus all that faffing around drying the screed, and how are you supposed to cover it with plastic to slow down the drying without walking on it

I expect that you roll out the plastic sheet as soon as you have troweled it flat.

Seems an "awful" lot of work and expense just to avoid a couple of rads on the wall, I suppose it's ok for those with more money than sense.

Polypipe do a overlay system now shed loads better fitted it to alot of places always better then the screed type. Sceed type for newbuilds as with most ufh

Last year some t wat bought a downstairs flat next to my brother's house, and then set about drilling out all the concrete floors to install UFH. Also took some walls out too.

Bloke took about 3 months drilling, inc weekends and bank holidays. Drove all neighbours, especially those in the same block, round the bend.

Just so he would't have a few radiators. What a plonker.
