Undeveloped hydrangea

Hi All

First post so go easy on me.

Wife bought two of these from B&Q. You’ll see one is yet to flower. Should it be ok, “eventually flower” etc?

The one not in flower has flowers on the way. When you buy from a garden centre or b and q they are "pushed to be in flower to sell. I have 2 mature ones and they are only just coming out in flower and I think they are a bit slow this year.

We have two big fellas that are flowering now and another that's probably in the wrong placed that's never thrived which is still yet to flower. I much prefer the blue tbh but cant be arsed for the effort involved.

Plenty of buds on that plant. It will flower....cut back in March ish.....

This was our one ten years ago. It’s never bloomed as good since. Every year we keep hoping…..
