Unknown Ancient Boiler not Working HELP

Hi there guys!

My boiler has just stopped working. I hear a bang and noticed that the hot water had gone off.

The issue is I can't figure out what boiler it is. I live in a rented flat. I've included photos on this post. Fuse on power in is lit but light on boiler not on.

Any ideas of what boiler it is? Or how to fix?

Looks like an Ideal Mini or the Biasi equivalent. You'll need a Gas Safe Registered Engineer to come and diagnose for you

Boiler is set to :" off " it that helps..press red reset.Left handside i think is "power " neon..not lit....either wiring fault or blown internal fuse

Cheers guys! I'm very happy to now know the model.

The led changes from OFF to ON but no green indicator to the left side of the dials. Odd it would show on led screen but not lighting up.

Will get someone out ASAP! Cheers!

The bang that you heard would be the pressure releif valve opening and closing, you need to reduce that pressure, and sooner rather than later

Correct...but nothing wrong trying to legally make it work on freezin Jan Sat night with more chance of meeting moses than a gas fitter with correct parts showing up soon.

hey guys. boiler still not working. Guy came up fixed it - did a dodge job so called them out again. waiting for more parts now. something to do with the ignition, full main pcb??? water was leaking from auto air vernt and needs a new lefthand manifold. needs replaced but can't see it happening.
