HI All,

Just helping out a neighbour with a leak under their sink, does anyone know what this valve is, I've never seen one like this before. The leak is coming from the bottom of the red part. I don't know where the flexi pipe is going to but I suspect the dishwasher.

The valve is a simple T-appliance valve, with flat face and a blue handle (1/4 turn to off/on, currently on).

The 3/4 rubber washer might need replacing, doubling up to seal or a simple 'tighten up' by hand of the red/brown part... or it may have broken if unlucky.

It's one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Aquastop-washing-dishwasher-water-block-ELEXACON/dp/B01N306B6D google lens tells me. Designed to stop the water flow from the tap if a leak in the machine is detected. It will have been supplied with the appliance concerned (washer or dishwasher).
