hi there.

Abit of a bold question but I have a 100 litre santon premier plus unvented electric water heater to install (have the expansion vessel, PRV etc) but to find a reliable qualified installation engineer in Leeds to price up installation seems impossible. What is the average installation costs? I assuming "t' off the rising main the the cellar and join the existing hot water pipework on the ground floor, 8 ft above.

Thanks

I would say a day rate in leeds would be about £200 -£300 but dont quote me on that, its a while since i was self-employed,but you would probably get a set price for this job regardless of the time it took.
You must not attempt this job yourself ,its not a diy job, if you get stuck for someone send me a message and i will see if i can help out finding someone local, but no promises.

Many thanks.

That would seem about what I expected as I had someone in to install a Redring Powerstream, to install that and isolate my old gas combi and drain down the radiator circuit cost me 300.00. Does sound as though that is a standard rate.

Thanks for the warning, I was not thinking of doing it myself - im not qualified nor confident.

Next to find a qualified installer, any personal recommendations would be welcome.

Regards
