Hi All

We have just recently found that our the upstairs bay window seems to be "sagging".

The window frame seems to be lifted and there is a gap between the frame and the bottom.
There is no gap at the top of the window frame though.

Should we be worried - is it likely to be the window, the external wood support of the bay window or some kind of structural issue ?

Also, does anyone know if the external wood support for such bay windows need to be maintained regularly ?

Thanks in advance!
Alex

It's a bow not a bay, and yes you need it looking at in case the brackets are failing.

Can you check both wooden brackets are tight back to the wall, especially the one on the side where the gap has developed?
