upstairs radiators wont heat up

Hi there

My upstairs radiators won't heat up, the downstairs ones work just fine. I've bled them but only water came out. I have no idea whats wrong, and I live in rented property so ideally i can fix this without the landlord getting a plumber in, any ideas??

Need more info. Kind of system ? Ever worked ? Any changes ? Etc etc.

Do you have more than one room thermostat on the wall. Possibly one upstairs and one downstairs? The upstairs could be on a separate zone form downstairs. The stat may need turning up or there could be a problem with the zone valve. If that's not the case try shutting all of the downstairs rads off to see if it will circulate upstairs. Let us know what you find.
