During hot weather door appears to expand and catches badly upon the metal fittings in the frame and makes it almost impossible to close. Have you any ideas on how to remedy this situation please?
assuming its on the lock side and specificly towards the top
you can adjust the top hinge often under a removeable plastic cover
mark the hinge and door in relation to each other with a line
you loosen the screws and either move the door by gentle support in the right direction or a allen screw or nut for fine adjustment
move 2mm at a time and tighten at least half the screws when trying for fit
hi, measure the diagonals of the frame and also the door. if it was fitted correctly, they should be both square. if the doo is longer from the top on the hinge side to the opposite corner, then chances are it has dropped. it will need toe and healing.
