upvc door sill

hi, I,m fitting a second hand upvc door and cant seem to find a upvc door sill. Is it ok to fit window sill, or are they different.

UPVC doors are fitted into upvc frames, the sill is an integral part of the frame! Are you trying to fitt a upvc door to a timber frame?...pinenot

upvc doors are set into frames but they are also stood on a upvc door sill. unnecessary maybe but it just shows the door off that much more.

These type of pvc sills are supplied loose for nothing into the sides of the door slap foots,some then are tapped on with a hammer, some simply silicon'ed and screwed to the door frame bottom runner. You could quite simply fit a timber/metal/plastic one on in similar fashion. Just make sure any drain holes in the bottom runner are kept clear.
