I just added 2 windows to a new project, and instead of standard cills went to
window supplier and got hold of extra deep (180mm) cills.

They fitted recess perfectly.

However at the time he did not have end caps .."they are on the van"

3 months later still no end caps, and he can't tell me what make the cills are.

I know they are not Profile 22 or Plastmo as checked them .............. anybody know what profile these are, the big difference is that the leading edge has a more
pronounced chamfered step, whereas profile 22 has a straight step.
I have upload a pic that show the profile that I need end cap for and for
comparison a standard end cap for profile 22.

The cill only protrudes about 30mm past reveal ... but need something that matches the shape .... probably having to go and make something.

Just google pvc cill end caps, trouble is the places i've found only sell them at 500 a time, best thing is to take a trip to any window manufacturer and buy a pair from them if your prepared to fettle them to fit, otherwise find out from the original bloke who hasnt supplied them who the profile is by and search for window manufacturers in your area that use that profile and get the exact ones

As you've said the cill in the picture is a 180 cill, but the end cap you have shown in the picture is a stub cill end cap.

You need to be trying 180 end caps otherwise the varing angle will always be diiferent (as you can see between the 2 on the pics)

Just get a pair of 180's that you can get hold of, any kind and have a fiddle about trying to file it to a similar shape as the cill.

Do you have any documentation from the window supplier of the profile he uses? ie.. All our casement frames are rehau, etc etc.

For what its worth though, just have a go at shaping one.

That is the issue been to 1/2 dozen window places they all use Profile 22 or Plastmo ... and that is wrong profile.

Even went to 2 'windows supplies' firms that specialise in the sundries .... still no joy.

He now uses Profile 22 system ... and he admits the 180 profiles are sonething he has had on shelf for a while, he didn't buy them .... hence I'm having trouuble finding the make of profile.

How about making then out of 3mm plastic sheet - make a cardboard template, cut the shape out of plastic with a jigsaw, then drag a sharp blade around the edges to apply a bevel?

Superglue into place..
