UPVC Staining

I recently had to cover a broken UPVC framed window. I used normal selotape to hold the cardboard to the frame. However upon removal the tape has left a greyish stain on the frame. Any ideas on how to remove it, have already tried usual UPVC cleaners but still no good

might be a chemical reaction to the adhesive if so it may be permanently stained?

There was a thread (in windows and doors I guess) a few months back regarding removing stains from UPVC, have a search.

Try these guys, have used em before. Got a cracked cill repaired and they say they can do anything to upvc ?

if T-cut won't shift it, it can't be shifted.
