Hi, I want to try and fit one of those "pull in blocks", someone called them.

Its for a top opening sach window that locks at the bottom.
Where excatley do they go? I know where they go but how far in or out are they fitted.(sorry not explaining myself verywell :) )
 
They fit between the hinges, in your case along the top in the centre, if your question is where on the frame then they generally fit in a predetermined groove on the opener called a euro groove, it became standard on doors and windows from the 1990s, one half fits into the euro groove and the other fits in a corresponding slot(not groove) in the frame
