Hello,

My "fantastic" builder decided to cover the drain holes with a sill that it was not compatibile with the window he fitted.

We plan to replace the window and install proper sill next year - however at the moment, I plan to drill the drain holes on the front on the window.

Could someone please advise where exactly the holes should be please?

As it was ordered with the cill the window most likely has concealed drainage (drainage holes are under the window) if so drilling new holes in the front will have no difference as water will still come out the bottom of the frame as that is the lowest point.

Actually looks like the overall size isnt too far off but he has just ordered the wrong cill size.
Should be possible to remove the window and refit it on the correct sized cill (may just need a bit cutting off the head of the frame).
