UPVC Window Gap - Not Flush With Frame When Closed

It may be that the hinge has been sprained from an attempt to get in the window or could be if the window was closed and there was a foreign body in the track at the time. Check to see if the hinge has any misalignment or deflection to it and if so straighten it out . You may have to remove it do so. The hinges are not too much to buy either so a better option may be just to pop into your local window manufacturers with the hinge and see if they can supply you with one.
