We have UPVC Bay windows one side is jammed shut or it seems the bottom is jammed shut the top half seems to be free if I push on it.
Now it seems to have happened this last week with all the heat, it gets the sun on the window for the hottest part of the day.
I did manage to push it open with a bit of force earlier this week and I checked the locking mechanism worked by the handle, all seemed to move freely and shut it. since then its got hotter and no way is the bottom freeing up now.
I've tried when its got cooler during the early hours of the morning but will not budge.
is this just heat expanding the plastic ? If I wait for a few weeks until its peeing down again perhaps it will free up or does it sound like its knackered.
