Hi
I was wondering whether there are any implications on using masonary paint as a base coat to be painted over with emulsion paint.
The walls to be painted are in a conservatory which is rectangular in shape.
The 2 short sides face outside with windows and doors
the main wall with the patio and door is an internal wall but used to be an external wall and the fourth wall faces the exterior with no windows it is just a plain wall.
very crudely it looks like the below
External wall ¬

I want to use masonary paint as a base coat because the conservatory does get a fair bit of abuse in particular from the kitchen. It seems like the conservatory does get quite a bit of elemental exposure and I'm hoping using the masonary paint as a base will help..
Opinions needed please
Thanks
