I've had a builder in who has put down some self-levelling compound to level out a concrete floor.
Overall this has gone down well but there are a few low spots (>4mm) and so would like to sort these out before I lay a laminate floor. The underlay I'm going to use is 4mm thick so I hope that this will cope with some imperfections but I know it won't cure all sins!
Can I use a self-levelling compound in small quantities to level out these dips?
What is the best technique for checking levels over the floor area?
Thanks!
