Using this lime base product

I have a small repair to do on a wall which has had some water issue. So using lime to be safe. It's 1.2m x 0.6 in size and a bag of this plaster will be perfect to make out 10mm. Then i have some lime finish in a tub.

Does anyone know if i can apply both coats on the same day, or do i do the base and then wait a while to do the top coat ?
