using win rar

i have downloaded movies with rar and cannot burn using nero 7 been told off person at pc world need to download win rar have done that but still cannot open file could anybody assist

I have downloaded rar files Downloade winrar open the files no problems, where/what is your problem.
You need to select rar 00.
Then the others will open

Winrar should decompress the rar files which are compressed files and a better vesion than the winzip zipped file format.
Then you can burn them in whatever format the uncompressed files are

tim chances are that the files need converting to vob files for burning.

make a new file folder and download a convertor program like win avi

save teh new file into the new folder and open it with the prgram you are going to burn it with....nero etc.

some dvd's on torrent site are iso files so you might need isobuster or any other program that is able to change the formats. better off sticking to avi format for downloads less hassle in converting prior to burn.

ussually when downloading it should tell you what type of format it is in if the seeder has been kind enough to name it.
chances are if its dvd packed into winrar it might be an iso file so you may need isobuster also. if you havent got the right codec for it you will have problems opning it all up.
