Using XL strong boy props for the first time!

I only heard about these a year or two ago. As the name suggests that are bigger and stronger than the normal strong boys. Apparently they can hold up both walls of a cavity which then means you can work on the outside without the acros obstructing you.
I like the sound of this and would like to give them a go but just wondered if anyone has used them or has any concerns that might not be a good idea?

Unfortunately they don't make the prop any stronger so still rated for 340kg or so. Anything more than a single ~1.0m opening I would stick with needle beams. Some decent innovations such as prop pal.

I would avoid the brick brace like the plague, too many unknowns for me.

That's a point the acros might struggle. I don't think three of the five props I'll use have much weight to bear as therye a bedroom window above but better safe than sorry. Cheers
