hi can someone tell me it this is ok, i'm planning to fit an extractor fan in our utility room I plan to run a spur to a FCU using 2.5 twin and earth cable then run a 1.5mm twin and earth cable from the FCU directly into the Extractor fan. Cheers is this safe and correct ??

Sounds reasonable as long as the spur is fed from a ring socket and not another spur (Unless you have radial sockets).
Also if you are burying the cable make sure it is in the correct zones.

1.0 to the fan - they have TINY terminals, and 1.5 may over-power them (in a non electrical sense!).

Remember a 3amp fuse in the FCU!

Sorry BJS Spark, wasn't to sure what you meant about the cables and the coreect zones. what i was intending to do was place in the civity between plasterboard and brick, is that ok ??, thanks for the other relpy Guys.
