Can I use softened water with a Vaillant 428 ecotec boiler. Thanks for your help.

Vaillant 428 ecotec and softened water

I don't see why not, the Vaillant has a Stainless Steel heat Exch, so should not be harmed by softened water, contact Vaillant's technical Support Department for confirmation - but if the boiler was a combi variant the manufacturer's recommend a softener in hard water areas so that is where I base my opinion
