Vaillant ecomax no hot water but central heating works fine

Hi there,

Sorry but in new to the site,

Im having trouble with my boiler. The CH works fine but the hot water does not work. When i open the tap the boiler ingites and the temp starts to rise rapidly and reaches 110'c and cuts out eventhough i have set the temperature around 60'c. Any ideas?

Could be diveter valve stuck, could be plate HE blocked.

if it is the diverter valve then can it be fixed or does it need to be replaced?

Its not the diverter valve.

So it must be the plate HE blocked.
