Vaillant Ecotec 28 Pro - Pump Overrun isse : S.7

Hello,
i have recently had a Vaillant Ecotec 28 Pro combi boiler installed in my house.
I had some issues with the pressure relief pipe, an engineer from the installation came to fix the problem on Tuesday.
Since the engineer came the boiler has not been acting the same.
here is the issue i am having.

The temperature on the central heating keeps rising, then the pump over run kicks in (status code : S.7)
(note this is even happening when i have the central heating control set for mid temperature)
the boiler then seems to restart (i guess this is due to the maximum temperature exceeded) and the same things happens over and over again.
this occurs every 5 minutes and is very annoying.

is there anything i can do to sort this or will i have to call out the engineer again ?

Its not clear to me from whay you have said whats wrong.

But you can invalidate the warrantee if you start fiddling yourself.

Call them back just like everyone else does.

Hi, just as Agile has said I'd recommend you recall the installing engineer and see what happens from there
