The pcb failed in my Vaillant Ecotec Plus 624 back in the summer after it had been switched off for a while when working on some electrics. I noted down all the settings, fitted a new pcb and set it to the same settings (as it happens they were all at factory defaults apart from the target temperature). No problems apparently but now that the CH is in occasional use I’ve noticed that the output as seen on the triangular gauge on the left of the screen never gets higher than about 3/4 of the way up. I’m sure it used to get all the way. Yesterday morning it sat at 3/4 for ages with the return temperature rising slowly from about 50 up to 70. Not a huge problem except that the rads take longer to heat. It’s quite a large system (12 rads + bathroom towel things) and no cold radiators just this low output. I’ve read that the factory ‘auto’ setting doesn’t always work too well. Advice please? Thanks.
