Vaillant EcoTec Plus R6660D problem

We are currently having a new kitchen put in with some building work.
The builder has taken apart the R6660D and told us there was live going in but not out.
He didn't tell us what he was doing, it was only when we found the dismantled R6660D in the kitchen and we had no heating or hot water!
Not sure what to do or if we can get the boiler on without it?

Can you post a photo of the part in bits? you should still have hot water.

Difficult to say without knowing what wires were actually connected to it and what was on the other end of each of them.

What has he done with the wires? are they still sticking out of the wall?

At the end of the day if before he touched it you had heating and hot water, he has caused the problem so you should get him to reinstate it as it was.
