Hi all,

Just looking at the Vaillant Ecotec 624 System boiler, it comes with an integral 10 litre expansion vessel.

The house is 4 bed 170 sq. metres, all radiators and 10/15/22mm pipework (no underfloor heating)

Typically, would you expect the system boiler itself to cope with expansion or would you be thinking of an additional stand-alone expansion vessel.

I'm thinking the integral vessel will be ok, but thought I'd ask.

Cheers

I normally add 18 litres expansion vessels where you have slightly larger system

A bigger expansion vessel will not cause any issues, just extra room for expansion ,plus there is not much in the price difference as 18 and 24 are very common sizes
