my vaillant turbomax plus 824/2e has a leaking diverter valve. this will be my second replacement, how do I replace the diaphragm? It would be a lot cheaper but I dont know exactly what is involved. can any help please?
I also have considerable difficulty visualising the Vaillant models.
To the OP, the diverter if its what you are calling it has small holes at about 4.2 mm on the old diverter and larger ones at about 6 mm on the later ones.
thanks bunnyman and tony, yes the previous valve had smaller holes,I bought the latest one today. Having done moulding in my younger days I am still loath to bin such a perfect casting. My earlier valve just stopped the hot water ,this one allowed warm water but dripped like mad. thanks again, auldreekie
