The problem is this; If the heating is not on, i don't get hot water. It seems the system works fine for the heating but if i want hot water I have to get it while the systems heating water for the radiators, when i attempt to get water any other time the boiler seems like it doesn't know hot waters being demanded, any ideas?

Thanks Tony, just been looking at prices and sods law, they are the most expensive diverter valves in the world!

Think yourself lucky it's not a Ferroli Modena pcb which I got on spec this morning for a customer @ £214 + Vat.Fortunately I didn't have to use it .

Unbelievable price for a circuit board on a boiler that has virtually nothing else on it.

Which turbomax is this?
Black front green dials or white front, white dials?

If its the black front, green dials and i imagine it is. Then all you need is the hw diaphragm and associated washer / o'rings. Much cheaper than the div valve.

If its the white fronted one then the flow switch is probably suspect.

It,s got green dials against a black background, the encasement is white. Do you suggest changing the diaphram thingy first then? Is that easy enough to do myself?

Piece of cake. But if all you know about cakes is that they have eggs in, you may find it hard to make one.

Changing the diaphragm is a bit fiddly, and sometimes is only a partial cure, but much cheaper if you're going to diy.
