Hi

Was going to get a HS Megaflo indirect installed but plumber has recommended the Vaillant Unistor as it matches my EcoTec 637 System boiler. Is the Unistor as good as the Megaflo. He was also recommending the Ultrasteel - any views on this?
Thanks
ARH.

uniSTOR!

Baxi Megaflo is not all that good, RCM Ultrasteel is a good budget unit.

The uniSTOR is a more modern design, beautifully made, can be driven by the Vaillant LAN based VR65 controller and thermistor temperature sensor. Dead clever and saves energy.

Consider fitting the VRC 400 weather compensator controller for a best available system. We have fitted a number of this configuration and it is a cracker.

NB: Be aware that sometimes the pump (and exp vessel) in the 637 is not up to doing a large system. Might need an additional exp vessel and the newly released Vaillant pump expander option.
