Vaillant VRT 340f or Honeywell CMT927

hi All

I've got a Vaillant Turbomax 824e boiler and require a wireless thermostat. I'm considering either the recommended on by Vaillant VRT 340F stat or Honeywell CMT927. Does anyone have any experience with the Honeywell and would it make a good accompaniment to my Vaillant Boiler. Currently dont have any kind of room stat only an analogue 24 hour timer built onto the boiler and individual stats on each radiator. I really need a 7 day timer.

The Vaillant thermostat is designed to work with modulating Vaillant boilers and I would think is therefore the best choice. Also, the VRT340 receiver is designed to plug directly into Vaillant boilers (although I am not familiar with the 824e), whereas the Honeywell would not.
