About 5 years ago I installed a Valliant 828/2E combi boiler which has worked like a dream until a few weeks ago.
At present the central heating and warm start (preheated resevoir of hot water) work as they should. So it is not a gas supply problem?
When I turn on the hot water tap the green water demand light blinks as it should but the yellow flame indicator either hunts on and of or when it does stay on the flame is too feeble to do any good. Also there is no automatic flow rate reduction to get the tap water temperature up to target. None of the digital diagnostics show a fault.
An ideas anyone?
