We seem to have a problem - when the boiler reaches flow temperature it shuts down and then restarts and hangs around 40 degrees flow temp.
Any suggestions please?

Depends what age for a few things. What is set flow temp? How long will it hang aroung the 40*c mark when it comes back on?

Get the instruction manual and look up the S.Codes, some will be a case of pushing the "i" Button, some will need top two buttons pressed to enter menu and then select live monitor (depending on boiler age)

the S.Code will be in the likes of S.04 / S.07 / S.53 depending on the S code when its stuck can give us a better Idea of whats wrong, as will the age of boiler.

It's a brand new boiler - 3 months old.
The code says S.04 heating mode burner on but the burner indicator is very low power.
It runs like this for hours.

What are the flow and return temperatures? Even a hand felt assessment!

How big is the property? If that's the right size boiler then its likely to be a very big place.

What does the installer say?

if it's new just get installer back, too many simple things that could need adjustment and a few bigger issues if it's installed wrong.

What size of house is it 8 bedroom?
