Hi Guys, i have recently expereinced some abnormal activity within my central heating.

The boiler has been switched to HOT WATER ONLY for a few months now, however the radiators have recently started to warm up at times for no apparent reason, particularly the ones closest to the boiler.

I have noticed that when the hot water is on for a considerable amount of time that this happens, i.e bathing, washing up etc?

Any ideas what this could be?

Not had the boiler serviced for a while so maybe something within the boiler?

Not sure of the exact model you have but those symptoms normally point to a defective diverter valve.They can be repaired but if you are attempting a DIY repair it's much simpler to change the valve complete.Exact model would help.
