This is my daughter's park home in Berkshire. Her outside tap froze/thawed and leaked. She is newly on her own with two kids so with no water/toilets on a Sunday we talked her through replacing the leaking joint which luckily was just a speed-fit elbow which she did (in the rain!) perfectly. All is well now but obviously she is nervous about leaving this new place to come down here for a week or two with us in Cornwall at Christmas. We only know about 70's Servo-Warm and our current Baxi Bermuda back-boiler circa 1985! :giggle: Can these (modern ish!) boilers stay working (on a frost stat) even if the mains is turned off?

We tried to help her find an isolator for the outside taps but if there is one it seems to be well underneath the property and she isn't well enough to crawl around under there. Why do these things always happen on a Sunday?!

Yes it should be fine to leave on. Is it a Combi, sealed or vented system?
