The water pressure gauge on my boiler is down to nearly zero and i need to increase the pressure, but there is no filling loop fitted, could any one tell me how to do this please

There wasn't a VGW.

Either way the most likely answer is "find the damned thing". People put them in weird places, but there has to be one.

Have looked all over the pipework and cannot find a filling loop, looks like who ever fitted the boiler never fitted one

err in that case how did they fill the system ;)

the silver braided pipe might not be connected :idea:

look for a valve on the cold main and usually on the heating return pipe :)
 
yes thats what i am thinking, but i have checked the whole length of cold water supply pipe to boiler and there is no other connection on it :confused:
 
No wonder i could not find the filling loop, there is a header tank in the loft, it does not mention this in the boiler instruction booklet. :eek:
