Hi all,
I have recently completed a property renovation in Northampton. Whilst doing so a heating engineer turned off our boiler and drained the system - whilst we removed radiators etc.
I have re-pressurised the system to 1 bar and it stays pressurised at that. I have turned on the power and fired her up - the pilot light is on. The boiler bubbled back into life and gives a satisfying hum. However thats all that happens the water runs cold (sometimes slighItly warmer than cold!) and the radiators and pipes never warm up.
I have had a reputable local heating guy to come and look today who spent some time on the phone to Valliant. He tells me the pump appears to run all the time unless the power is turned off. Other than that he is unable to work out the issue. He has suggested a new PCB - or to find someone who has knowledge of this boiler.
Having researched on this forum I have seen there are a couple of 'Bunny's' who know there way round a SINE-18. Are you still active here?
I'd be happy to pay someone with relevant experience to come and have a look - as mentioned we are in Northampton. Or if someone could help me fault find or offer some ideas as to what the problem could be I would have a good starting point!
Thanks guys!
Paul
