valve sticking on hw

hi my 3 way valve is stuck on hw, do i need a new one, i have no heat

Depending on make and cause, you may be able to change just the motor, or just the head/actuator, or you may have to change the entire valve after draining down.

its a mison
its just the switch thats stuck when you push it up it works

Followed instructions, controller keeps sliding down so had to put a pen under it to hold it on manual, dont know if it will work but im froze!!

What happened to Dave from Hinkley

got a friend of a friend, he changed the pump but then discovered it was the switch! got one on order now
the trick with the pen worked house is toasty now!
