Van ply lining

I want to ply line my Ford transit swb 2004 van.

Had a look on the web as I will probably buy a kit to do the job myself.

Has anyone done this and experienced any problems?

Some stockists sell Birch ply as opposed to the everyday stuff - is there a real advantage to this or not?

i've done several vans, i glue (pink grip) and screw it in. if you just screw it in it squeaks! better quality board lasts better. i also paint it which makes it look better and is easier to clean.
