Can't turn my Van's wipers or lights off, just suddenly happened while I was driving. Extremely hot today- has this caused an electrical fault? Can't lock van either. Have to put it in the keyhole and do it manually.

Anyway to turn electric off so battery doesn't run down?

It was always damp under where feet go, foam absorbed lots of water so wedged a brush underneath to get some ventilation.

Indicators and light column switches might be faulty as I've swapped a couple before.
Easy enough on some vans so maybe that's at fault.
You need to figure out where water is coming in though, as you will rust out floor and maybe the damp will cause an electrical fault.

Check the multi plug connectors under the carpet if there are any. They could be corroded and causing a short.

I think you could do yourself and your van a big fat favour by cleaning out that battery compartment, getting it dry ( and keeping it that way) and going over each and every multiplug connectors.....especially those which are going green!
Give the connectors a spray with electrical contact cleaner.

Rac guy thinks it could be all the water leaking in from back of van to front, the sponge under floor is sodden. He recommended taking seats out and drying foam underneath, checking the connectors for a faulty earth or something. Think u guys recommended that. Before unbolting seats and doing this will shove some wood underneath and see if this ventilates it and drys it out sufficientlyfor no needto take seats out. Circled bolts I need to undo to take seats out

Might be a leak coming in from roof above driver's side.

It always gets wet there after rain
