Finished final varnish coat using Bona Mega silk matt. I want to give floor final polish to remove bits of dust so I have a very smooth finish. Any advice on what to use.
OP,
You need to prime the sanded floor before applying the finish.
Use Bona Mega rollers to apply the primer & the finish - cut in with whatever brush they recommend.
Before priming use professonal Tack Cloths to pick up dust & debris.
Ask Mega for advice on how to dispose your tack cloths & any other items - dont just bin them.
OP,
Apologies, I didn't read your OP post correctly.
It depends on just how much debris has been trapped, over an large area or a patch - if you can live with it (covered by furniture, say?) then leave it alone.
Or you could remove the dust by sanding down with a belt and an orbital sander but blending-in the varnish might end up with it looking worse than with the dust?
