Hello all, can anyone help .
I was going to varnish the interior of our new beach hut but have been told by the hut makers not to do this til at least April. For obvious reasons I was hoping to get this done in winter months so all ready for the hotter times.
Can anyone tell me why this would not be possible please.
The hut will be open whilst I am in there so ventilated but once finished for the day it will be shut up so quite air tight.
Thanks in advance

Tony

Its too cold, retarded drying means moisture in the air will settle on it and freeze. It will struggle to 'film form' and cure as well.

Thanks for that, I could not see a temperature indication on the varnish so just assumed it doesn't matter. When would I have to wait until?
Thanks

All paint needs to be above a certain temperature for it to dry and cure properly. It can bloom aswell making it have a bluish tinge when too cold. Leave till spring.
