my daughter has been having problems with the above car, the power steering is causing major problems. she's been told that it's a common fault and although the car is only 6 years old with 65k on the clock its not worth repairing any body come across this one before??

Whats the problem with the power steering?? IIRC its electro hydraulic, Is it shutting off? It could be a dodgy alternator?! Make sure there is plenty of fluid in the reservoir.
