It seems the EML bulb has failed here, for the second time in two years, it is not lighting when ignition switched on. Does anyone have any info. please on how to remove the instrument panel on these cars? Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

Personally id leave it alone, you will be able to tell when the car has a problem as it will affect driveability. You can still plug a code reader in to access codes etc when needed, and as far as i know it wont be an mot problem.
I believe that if the EML light does not work, it is now an MOT failure. However, I shall check this.
